It’s the thirteenth name-day,
The morning began with song,
“Bring your friends to eat and play,
And celebrate all day long”,
A Christmas classic we play
and the Christmas bells they ring!
Wee faces be fresh, we sing at full breath:
“The bells go ding-dong-ding!”
The spinning three plates,
The muffins an’ cakes,
The buns from Chelsea
that mummy, she bakes,
The girls on a hike,
The bard on a bike,
All jolly and blissful and wide awake!
The lot be hale and hearty,
And hours past they go,
For some, a sunny party,
And others cheer in snow,
Fervour in every country,
In one spirit we do
wish you a happy birthday
and a Happy Christmas too!
The spinning three plates,
The muffins an’ cakes,
The buns from Chelsea
that mummy she bakes,
The girls on a hike,
The bard on a bike,
All jolly and blissful
and wide awake!
